Blocked And Reported Podcast Attacks Intactivist Leaders On Behalf Of Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon
Podcast confirms Bruchim founder's secret campaign against intactivists.
In a recent episode of the podcast Blocked and Reported, the hosts Jesse Signal and Katie Herzog criticize the intactivist movement and advocate for Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon. While acknowledging the ethical concerns and evidence against infant circumcision, the majority of the episode focuses on disparaging intactivists.
A significant portion of the podcast centers on mocking Eric Clopper's show, "Sex & Circumcision: An American Love Story." The hosts derisively describe Clopper as having "daddy issues," lacking charisma, and accuse him of being antisemitic.
Additionally, the hosts praise Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon, whom they identify as the "little brother" of Bataya Ungar-Sargon, a friend of the podcast hosts and a Newsweek editor who has influenced their work in the past, raising concerns about bias in their reporting.
The podcast depicts Ungar-Sargon's film as highly prestigious, while diminishing Brendon Marotta's Netflix-trending documentary as a mere YouTube movie. During the episode, one of the hosts also casually uses the offensive racial slur "goy" to refer to non-Jewish individuals.
The hosts of Blocked and Reported confirm that Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon, the founder of Bruchim, orchestrated a covert campaign against Marotta, accusing him of being a "white nationalist" during secret meetings with activists and journalists. However, Ungar-Sargon's justification for these actions rests on an alleged remark made by Marotta, which Marotta denies ever saying.
Marotta describes his last conversation with Ungar-Sargon as a display of mental instability, where Ungar-Sargon expressed a desire to "abolish whiteness" following Trump's election. The hosts of Blocked and Reported dismiss Marotta's account, deeming it too reminiscent of a social justice warrior's actions, despite acknowledging that Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon has far-left social justice views.
Ungar-Sargon initially hesitated to publicly acknowledge his secret campaign against intactivist leaders. He only went on-the-record after Jesse Signal, the host of Blocked and Reported, asked him to so that the hosts would have some evidence they could use against Marotta.
Although the hosts acknowledge that Ungar-Sargon's evidence is based solely on unverifiable hearsay, the hosts of Blocked and Reported choose to support him due to his connection to their friend. They go on to accuse Marotta of being an antisemitic white nationalist during the podcast.
Marotta asserts that he invited the hosts to call him, but they never did. He claims that much of the evidence he provided was either ignored or omitted from the episode. To listen to Marotta's full response, click here.
